2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class CoupeThe Mercedes-Benz company launched the final phase of testing open version of the Coupe E-Class new generation, which will be available on the European market early next year. According to the British publication Autocar, has published spy photos of the car, engineers Mercedes-Benz has already conducted tests of suspension and handling on the Nurburgring, as well as new items completed compared with the convertible Lexus IS and BMW 3-Series.

As previously reported, convertible Mercedes-Benz E-Class will get a soft folding roof and a small spoiler on the edge of the windshield, which, when lowered to cut off the top of the basic flow of air from the passengers and will reduce aerodynamic noise. The angle of attack of the spoiler can be customized according to your wishes or even remove it. In addition, the German automaker, according to Autocar, is working on a modernized system of "air scarf" (deflectors in the headrests, feed while driving without a roof, the hot air to the necks of passengers), designed for both front and rear passengers.

Expected to open E-Class will be offered the same range of engines, and for the sedan and coupe, including the four-cylinder petrol turbo engine with direct fuel injection diesel engine with two turbines and, possibly, "charged" versions of AMG.
